Being named Barbershopper Of The Year means that you have been selected by the members of your chapter as being the one who most closely embodies the principles of the chapter. Criteria may include attendance at chapter, district and division functions, quartet activities, bringing guests, serving as an officer or on a committee, etc. In general, the award is for recognizing the outstanding efforts of the member.
